Future workshops and coffee
Dear Creative Friends in Canterbury,
We had a constructive time at Canterbury Baptist Church today thinking about local events. Elsa will look into the Westgate 3rd Saturday in a month Arts and Crafts fair hiring a table for us, starting 21st April and we will plan dates for some Summer garden sales. Let Elsa know of any other similar events where we can hire tables at a reasonable price (£10-20) and any of us available will go as a collective to these events – should be fun.
Next meet-ups are:
- Tues 10th and Tues 24th April at 9am coffee at Route 23 (Spring Lane Neighbourhood Centre, Sussex Ave). We’ll then carry on with these on 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.
Workshop ideas? Monthly workshops seems like a good way to go. Andrew will kick us off with one after Easter (details to follow soon). Any offers for May? Venues available include all the places we’ve met so far and 16 Ersham Rd – send Elsa any suggestions for a workshop you could lead later in the year.
