Jeff’s book “Real Artists Don’t Starve” has been read by a number of Canterbury Creatives members and has been incredibly influential in changing their mind set and attitude towards life as a creative. We thoroughly recommend this book if you want to develop a successful career doing what you love.

Writers’ Yearbook – www.writersandartists.co.uk

Each year The Writers’ and Artists’ Yearbook is released and it is a must for any aspiring author. There is a vast array of writing advice as well as many links to other organisations, agents and publishers. There are separate books available for adults and children’s writers.

Canterbury Makers

Canterbury Makers is a pop-up shop that is currently in the Whitefriars in Canterbury. It showcases the talents of many local creatives including our own David Weeks with his beautiful local seascape and Canterbury acrylic paintings, prints and cards.

Made by Kent

Made by Kent is a beautiful shop found in Staplehurst, Kent that supports local creatives. Andrew Buller has a selection of his books, cards, posters and framed art work in the shop.

WhitWord is a very supportive local writing group with interesting speakers and the opportunity to link up with other writers. The group meets in Whitstable, in East Kent.
